Martin Totev

Hello! and hi! đź‘‹
I am a business developer and product designer, and I like to solve problems that digital services face without compromising the experience of its users or the company's business objectives.

You can always reach me at hi@martintotev.com đź“ and here is my CV đź“„ for those of you interested.

Profile

I am an experienced, self-motivated business development and project manager with various projects as a reference. I was responsible for expanding the partner network, bringing new projects, and converting engagements into successful business relationships. I also had the opportunity to manage the product delivery to one of the largest American suppliers of infotainment modules to vehicle manufacturers. I value teamwork, collaboration and productive discussions as I believe in the Luo proverb, “Alone a youth runs fast, with an elder slow, but together they go far”. In my free time, I like to run and hike on trails, challenge myself by learning to code or relax with a good movie.

I have been a part of the company since it was a new technology business unit of Penta Security Systems. As one of the early members, I collaborated with various departments to develop a successful business and pipeline strategy to engage a notoriously conservative market. I helped build and maintain relationships with potential clients and key partners that grew into full-scale projects and business relationships. Through market research and analysis, I was involved in the establishment of the company's European and North American wings.

General roles and responsibilities:

  • Business development, pre-sales and account management of major clients.
  • Establish new relationships with potential business partners and maintain existing ones.
  • Develop business plans and market engagement strategies based on market research.

  • Create and maintain product-related introduction slide decks and sales kits.

As a product designer and business developer, I provided product consulting and design services based on market trend analysis and research to develop state-of-the-art multi-functional equipment for a city-use-oriented small-scale tractor. General roles and responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to identify new market opportunities, build partnerships and alliances, and identify potential new products or services.
  • Managing the product design process, from conceptualisation and ideation to prototyping and testing. Working closely with other members of the design team, as well as stakeholders, to ensure that the product meets the design and quality standards and requirements.
